Focusing Through the Lens: Week 14

Hey y’all! I know it has been two weeks since we last walked through some pictures together. Life has been happening at break neck speed. Which I am sure we all feel that way during this period of the year. Last week was a wonderful exciting week for me. I went to Blissdom with two amazing ladies and had a blast! I can tell you if they have it next year, I will be going. Until then come take a look and focus on what has been captured through my lens.

I couldn’t help and had to share this little ballon arch at Blissdom.
This trip was my first one to Nashville Tennessee let me tell you the food did not disappoint. This was brisket fries . Y’all these worth cheat.
As things turn and start to lose their colors, it is these berries turn to shine. For me they are nature’s way of never loosing all her colors even in the dead of Winter. They are also a great way to decorate for the Holiday season. I am sure before long they will find a home inside mine to help us get ready for the season.
This picture has a long story to go along with it. My favorite kinds of pictures usually are not the same as others. In fact, I love to find the beauty in everyday things. This weed currently is growing on the side of my road. If you are not familiar with my road, it is a dead end dirt road. As you can guess not much traffic comes down it. Well not down where I live. I was out walking Blu one evening and saw the weed. I snagged a couple of shots on my phone and planned to look at them later in the evening. When I saw it, I knew I wanted to shoot it with my camera. Cue the next evening after work, the setting Sun was perfect behind it. So, I sat my big butt right in the road happily snapping away. Then I heard it, a vehicle coming down the road. My neighbor had company leaving. So I hastily got out of the road to keep from getting run over. Usually I have someone with me when I am in the zone to keep me from getting into a situation like this but Glitter was walking Blu and Hubby was still at work. This picture has become one of my favorites and I am getting a print to hang in my living room.

Thank you again for walking with me and looking through the lens. Don’t forget to share this post if you like it!
