Adventure, Focus through the lens

Focusing Through the Lens: Week 25

This week our walk will be a bit of hodge podge. Late Spring and early Summer is upon us and this means golden hour is here with so much more warmth. So let’s put on our hiking shoes and see what is focusing through lens.

Pink Bell flowers
Normally I would not photograph during bright harsh lighting but this pink flower at WalMart was just too pretty not to shoot. Around Spring when the plants get set out, I tend to spend a lot of time looking and trying not to buy them all.
Honey Suckle
Is there anymore more a signal of Summer is on it’s way?. If you grew up in the South, you know this smell and it has the power to transport you back to childhood with the memories of trying to get your fill of the honeysuckles. I remember trying to eat all I could before my sisters found them.
White Round flower
This little flower/weed depends on how your outlook. This is the underneath side of this flower. If you look at it from the top it looks like a dome flower. I had taken several photos from the view of looking down on the dome. However, I happened to turn the flower around the way the lines and center brought everything together was amazing.
Field at Golden hour
This field is close to my house. The way the uncut grass catches the light holds me in awe. Golden hour is my favorite time to take any pictures. If you scroll back up to the first photo, you can see the difference between mid day sun and golden hour. If you are lost hearing this term, no fear. All golden hour means, is the soft yellow/golden light right before sunset. There is a bit of golden light in the morning but I am usually going to work so I normally miss this time.

This week was a bit of a hodgepodge of focusing through the lens. Next week I promise there will be a trip somewhere again. I am asking y’all my dear ones, to help me pick somewhere you would like to go virtually. All you have to do to vote is drop a comment naming the place! I can’t wait to hear from y’all!
