Focusing Through the Lens: Week 11

This past week, we had a cold front come through which means FOG!! Y’all I know I say “such and such is one of my favorite things to photograph” but seriously I have a lot of favorites. I am sure this is not going to come as a shock to you but I have a secret stash of stories most people haven’t seen. One story has a line about the main character walking through fog into a field. Also my mind tends to make up new stories dealing with fog when it happens. So walk with me and let’s make up some new stories with the fog.

This is one of the pastures which surrounds my house. The way the tree line being barely visible through the heavy damp air brings goosebumps to my arms. It is very Witchy vibe which screams you must create.
The title of this photo could simple be: Fall in the South. There isn’t much color changes happening but every year this yellow weed grows tall and so bright.
Okay y’all, I want to hear from you about what you would call this photo. What it reminds you of. Comment and let me know!
This is after the rain started. If you know me, I love rain. Rainy days for me is like Sunny days for most people. (Who is with me?) I look forward to the gray, wet, cooler days . They give me all the energy to get my do list knocked out or to snuggle under all the comfy blankets.

Thank you for hang out in the fog with me this week. Don’t forget to share your thoughts on the 3rd photo. I am so excited to see what y’all have!

  1. I love these images! They make me want to write a fantasy story about stepping into the fog, and finding a whole new world.

And that third photo reminds me more of spring than of fall, but that’s the way the weather is in the south. If you stare at it too long, it’s like you can feel the horizon going back into the photo! Definitely a witchy vibe for sure.
