Focusing Through the Lens: Week 10

Hey y’all! I am so sorry for missing last week. Every year my birthday week makes me a little blue and get out of touch with everyone. So we are going to pretend this week is last week. So without further ado, let’s go take a peek through the Lens.

I have always loved the look of bricks. These gorgeous beauties are on a side of downtown building in Hope. The vivid red is what gets me every time I see them.

Again bricks y’all! This is little bit reminds me of when Hagrid brings Harry to Diagon Alley for the first time. This little magical crumbly bricks has been the start to many stories between Glitter and I. Are you a Harry Potter fan, fan of Fantasy genre, or something else? Share your favorite book/series with us!

Our downtown is filled with old tile which use to be in stores. This is one of our favorite sections. It is sad to see this old tile just sitting out in the elements. We try to document the different sections so that we may be able to share it with future generations.

This is an ode to a different time. This has been here since I moved to town 13 years ago. This is one of the first things my Hubby showed me. At one time there use to be a photography studio above this drop off. Now you can’t drop off film because this place has changed into something else. I have been shooting digital for many years now but as I grow in the digital realm, I am working my way back to film. In fact, one of my birthday presents was a used 35mm camera set up. I hope to get my hands on some film and share with y’all soon.

Again I am sorry about disappearing on y’all last week. I do have another post to share this week and it should be ready late tonight or early Thursday. Also, I have not forgot about the trip I hinted about last week. So let’s play a game of where in Arkansas do you think we are going?
